Needless to say: we love Levi! On this page, we have shared our personal favourites for an unforgettabe holiday in this wonderful resort. We strongly recommend that you do check them out for heaps of holiday fun and pleasure!
Dining
Valkea Vaadin This restaurant offers absolutely magnificent food and wines in a cosy atmosphere. Located next to the Hullu Poro hotel, it is perfect for a romantic dinner-for-two, but also families with children in all ages are very well catered for. It's a must-try!
Apres Ski
Vinkkari The best Apres Ski in Levi to our opinion is found at the Vinkkari café at the bottom of the North slope. From roughly 16:30 - 18:30, the fun gets wilder as the schnapps flows. The music is thumping and dancing on the tables is mandatory for all ages. Do try the Salmiakki and Horna shots and get in the mood for sauna and dinner!
Excursions
The many excursion possibilities in Levi make this place different from all other Central-European ski-resorts. Our favourite is the snowmobile. Driving through the breathtaking landscape for short or long trips, for experienced or novice; this is again one of those must-do's! We recommend the Perhe Safarit, where both rental and guided tours are offered. Top gear, friendly staff and good service.
Nightlife
Hullu Poro Areena It's big, it's hot, it's wild! The best disco in town boosts daily live concerts of Finnish national pop-artists in the winter high-season. For both the young and the young-at-heart! Make sure you are in before midnight and party until early morning. The 'old' Hullu Poro Definitely smaller than the Areena but much more intimate, and a magnificent place to start your evening. Get in touch with other holiday-makers, smile at the karaoke, flirt and enjoy rock & roll style live artists.
